Setting Up Plesk Auto Updater to Notify You About Control Panel Updates
You can configure Plesk Auto Updater utility to notify you that updates for your Plesk control panel are available, so that you know it's time to update your Plesk.
To make Plesk Auto Updater utility notify you when Plesk updates are available:
- Open the Start menu > All Programs > SWsoft > Plesk > Configure Auto Updater.
- Select the Keep my Plesk server up to date check box.
- In the Check for updates and at fields select date and time when Plesk Auto Updater should connect to SWsoft web site and check for updates.
- Select what should Auto Updater do when it finds that Plesk updates are available:
- Notify me if there are any updates available but do not download and install them automatically - a notification is sent to you when updates are available, so that you can update Plesk manually.
- Download the updates automatically and notify me when they are ready to be installed - updates are downloaded automatically in the background; notification is sent to you so that you can update Plesk manually without downloading the updates.
- Select notification options in the Send Notification section:
- To e-mail - specify the e-mail address to which Plesk Auto Updater should send the notifications.
- From e-mail - specify the e-mail address from which Plesk Auto Updater should send the notifications.
- Subject - specify the subject of notification e-mails. The default subject is "The Plesk Auto Updater notification".
- Click Apply.
