Using Plesk License Repository

Plesk License Repository is used for storing all license keys, including old ones and master keys, of all Plesk servers registered in Plesk Expand. License keys are stored in the repository until the server that uses them is removed from Plesk Expand.

You can get to the Plesk License Repository by clicking License Repository on the Plesk servers management page.

The Plesk License Repository contains the list of the license keys presently stored there. The following table provides the names of the list columns and their descriptions:

Represents a state of a license key:

Active

A license key is active.

Deactivated

A license key has expired.

ID

Shows an ID number of a license key. The ID number is given to each license key automatically after its installation and depends on the order of its installation. The first license key installed in Plesk gets ID number 1, the second installed key - ID number 2 and so on.

Key Number

Provides a number of a license key.

Key Type

 

 

 

 

Indicates the type of a license key:

 

Default

A key with a limited functionality allowing you to create one Plesk client, one domain, and one mailbox.

Regular

A key providing full functionality of the control panel.

Master (Reseller)

A key used by a reseller. This key contains the feature set of a regular key and is granted to a user by a reseller.

Additional

A separate license key you need to purchase for separate products that can be integrated with Plesk.

Plesk Servers

Shows a name of the server this license key is installed on.

Expiration Date

Displays an expiration date of a license key.

Note: When a license key expires, a corresponding notification is sent to the administrator's e-mail. The server the license key of which has expired becomes deactivated.
