Working with Lists of Objects
On some pages, you may have a considerable number of objects, such as Plesk servers, Plesk clients, domains, etc. shown in Plesk Expand work area. Such multiple elements are always displayed as hyperlinks organized in tables. The list shows the objects themselves (on the Plesk server management page, it shows Plesk Servers, on the Domains management page - domains, etc.), and critical parameters of these objects in separate columns of the table. Each item in the list is a hyperlink to the administration page of this object. Values in some columns are shortcuts to the pages where these parameters of the given object can be adjusted.
The list items can be sorted by any parameter. To sort items by a parameter, for example, Client name (see the figure below), click the corresponding column title. The list will be sorted by the client name in ascending alphabet order. You can change the sorting order, ascending to descending or vice versa, by clicking on a small triangle to the right of the title in the column heading.
There are certain group operations which you can perform by checking the corresponding boxes in the list and clicking one of the group action shortcuts (e.g., Enable, Disable, Remove, etc.).
The example of such page is shown below.

You can perform the following typical operations on the objects listed on such pages:
- Search. To search for a specific entry in the list, enter the corresponding information into the provided search fields (any of them), and click Search. All matching items will be displayed in a reduced list.
Note: The search patterns slightly differ for different search fields. For the ID field, only exact matches are shown: for example, if you enter "3", only objects with ID=3 are shown, objects with ID=33 will not be shown. All the other text fields use the "any word" search pattern: for example, if you enter "John" in the Client Name field, you will see all objects containing "John", such as "Johnson", "John Smith", etc.
- Show All. If you are viewing a reduced list, click Show All to revert to the entire list of objects.
- Enable. To activate an object or a list of objects, select corresponding checkboxes at the right end of the list and click Enable.
- Disable. To deactivate an object or a list of objects, select necessary objects and click Disable.
- Assign Selected. Plesk Expand objects or users can be assigned to Expand clients or resellers, and also to centralized servers. To assign object(s) or user(s), select the corresponding item(s) in the list and click Assign Selected. Confirm or cancel assigning of the object(s) on the confirmation page that appears.
- Deassign Selected. To deassign object(s) or user(s), select the corresponding item(s) in the list and click Deassign Selected. Confirm or cancel the deassign of the object(s) on the confirmation page that appears.
- Reload. To refresh an object, select the corresponding checkbox at the far right side of the list and click Reload. On the next page, select which data should be reloaded. This option might be useful if you have made any changes to the objects and wish to refresh them yourself without having to wait for Plesk Expand to do that.
- Remove Selected. To remove an entry (entries) from the list, check the corresponding box(es) and click Remove or Remove Selected. On the next page, confirm the deletion and click OK. The selected entries will be deleted.
- Log in to a particular object in the Plesk control panel. For this, click the
icon next to the corresponding object. It takes you straight to this object on the Plesk server where it resides. The Plesk control panel opens in a separate browser window.
To proceed to the administration page of a certain object or user in Plesk Expand, click the object name in the list.
